1978 New York Pizzeria

Great local food!! This place is located right next to Giant Grocery store and we have been regular customers since first trying it. We love the Sausage/Peppers/Onions Hot Sub (with very good fries.... which are no longer included for free as of 2021, BOOOO!), delicious pizza, the Strombolis, and Calzones (either of these easily could feed 2 people and probably weighs 2 pounds). Chesapeake wings are delicious and fair sized. The quality of the food is good, you get a lot of quantity, and they don't skimp on the meat and toppings. For takeout, they even packaged the hoagie and toppings separately so the sandwich doesn't get soggy. Food is always ready quick (MUST order in advance, they are super busy on weekends), and the prices are very fair. Never eaten inside but it is basic and nice enough for fast food (wouldn't necessarily take a date there unless in middle school). The employees are always quick and efficient but not particularly friendly....but the food is what keeps us coming back. Posting photos of menu since they don't have a website.

First time ordering here, I was starving and was craving good authentic pizza. The pizza arrived quick, I paid $18 for a 6 slice pepperoni pizza. It was the worst pizza ever, we didn’t even eat it, we tore the crust off and ate that. The pizza was SO sloppy and wet, we ended up throwing it out. We also ordered 7 wings, those were good & crispy. I’m not sure how you mess up a pizza but I will never ever order here again, straight up dissatisfying and gross.
